It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lula Mae Benoit Hoffpauir (Rayne, Louisiana), who passed away on June 23, 2023, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Otis Hoffpauir, Sr.; her son Otis Hoffpauir, Jr.; her grandsons, Darin Guillot and Joseph "Joe" Verley LeBlanc; and her parents, Lucien Benoit and Bertha Richard Benoit.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gayle Hoffpauir Guillot (Luby Guillot), Judy Hoffpauir Richard, Kathy Hoffpauir Regan (Pat Regan), Mary Hoffpauir and Anna Hoffpauir LeBlanc (Duane LeBlanc); and her grandchildren, Troy Guillot, Lesli Guillot, Jason Richard, Lucien Richard, Daniel'Arya, Baylee Regan, April Freeman, Ben LeBlanc and Madilyn LeBlanc. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren, nine great great grandchildren, and one great great great grandchild.
