With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Josie Istre of Rayne, Louisiana, who passed away on October 8, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Lou "Molly" Istre; his daughter Karrie Ann Meche; his grandsons, Richard and Russell Koch; and his brother Lou Allen Istre.
He is survived by: his children, LeRoy (Connie Istre) of Mire, Burl (Barbara Istre) of Rayne, Quinton (Heather Istre) of Milton and Jeanne Istre of Rayne; and his sister Jo Relda (Terry Trotter) of San Rafael, CA. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, twenty six great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
