With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janelle Huckaby Gonzales (Rayne, Louisiana), born in Church Point, Louisiana, who passed away on September 6, 2022 at the age of 76. She was predeceased by: her former husband Austin Leger; her husband A. J. Gonzales; and her siblings, Alphan, Wilton Huckaby, Genevieve Breaux and Beverly Huckaby.
She is survived by: her children, Alecia Kay Leger (Willis James Lege, Jr.) of Rayne, Angela Kate Billings (Aaron) of Crowley, Hannah Kim Daigrepont (Chester) of Marksville, Felix Kurt Leger (Greda) of Duson and Austin Kent Leger of Mire; and her sister Eloise Manuel of Texas. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
