He is survived by: his fiancée Lisa Thomas of Rayne; his daughter Tonya Minix; his son-in-law Michael of Rayne; his children, Rashell Thomas of Lafayette, Allen Minix (Kendra) of Rayne, Alvin J. Minix (Markeitha) of Duson and Christopher Paul Minix of Rayne; and his siblings, Gloria Wilson of Rayne, Lillie (Eunice), Margaret Goodwin of Rayne, Betty Chambers of Liberty, TX, Lawrence Bernard of Crowley, Larry Bernard of Rayne, Micko Bernard (Kathy) of Opelousas and Earnest Bernard of Liberty, TX. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
