It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elnora Harmon Charles of Rayne, Louisiana, born in Branch, Louisiana, who passed away on September 15, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest Harmon and Harriet Bologne Harmon; her son Willie Charles; and her siblings, Wilton Harmon, Harold Harmon, Lester Harmon, Percy Harmon and Sadie Bell Harmon.
She is survived by: her children, Victoria Charles Burdine of Oklahoma City, OK., Kathy Charles of Oklahoma City, OK, Alfred Charles (Sherry) of Oklahoma City, OK. and Phillip Charles (Charlotte Faye) of Rayne; her godchildren, Quincy Mouton and Trimmer Mouton; and her close friends, Felicia Kelly, Lock and Jeanette Charles. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
