It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Annie Mae Eaglin Nickson of Rayne, Louisiana, born in Branch, Louisiana, who passed away on July 22, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Silas Eaglin and Clemence Thibodeaux; her husband Edward Nickson; and her siblings, Ovey Eaglin, James Eaglin, Howard Eaglin, Lee Ethel Malveaux and Rena Gibson.
She is survived by: her children, Edward and Terry; her sister Helen Bouttee; her daughters, Norma Leblanc and Charity Evans of Rayne, LA; and her nieces and nephews, Edward James Nickson Jr. and Terry Nickson of Rayne, LA.. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
