Dufrene of Raceland, Louisiana, born in Larose, Louisiana, who passed away on February 8, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Calvin J. Dufrene; her son Randy Dufrene; her grandchildren, Gillian Dufrene and Rickey Bader, Jr.; her parents, Cleveland Rodriquez and Vernice Arabie Rodriquez; her sister Amerie Zerangue; her goddaughter Kimberly Toms; her son-in-law J. W. Powell; and her siblings-in-law, Elier and Leontine Champagne Dufrene.
She is survived by: her daughters, Darlene Powell and Janis Giroir (Terry); her grandchildren, Kelly Matherne (Don), Eric Powell (Connie), Jenifer Monson (Wesley), Lauren Dufrene and Derek Dufrene; her stepgrandchildren, Paula Comeaux and Lacey Giroir; her great grandchildren, Hayley Folse (Charles), Blaine Matherne (Lauren), Janie Pierce (Jacob), Austin Matherne, Triston Powell, Savannah Powell, Gage Gautreaux (Brittany), Madison Baudoin, Cullen Adams, Gavin Bader, Randy Dufrene, Kelsie Arcement, Brenna Arcement (Toby Torres) and Lyla Theriot; her stepgreat-granddaughters, Heather Chiasson (Dean) and Sadie Henn; her great great grandchildren, Carter, Colton, Carson, Gracie, Weston, Marlee, Oliver, Gillian, Sophia, Adeline, Hazel Grace, Jaxon, Laine, Holden, Reid and Lawson; her sister Elaine Cullen; and her brother-in-law Gerald Zerangue.
