It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Rita Pitre of Raceland, Louisiana, born in Cut Off, Louisiana, who passed away on December 27, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her sons, Nathan Anthony Truxillo and Regie Mark Truxillo; her parents, Eads Pierre Pitre and Alzina Hebert Pitre; and her great grandchildren, Isabel Anne Bruce and Phoenix Claire Stratton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jennifer Lasseigne (Ira) and Scarlett Danos (Robert); and her grandchildren, Monique Hodson (Ben), Lance Lasseigne (Caroline), Jared Lasseigne (Cheri), Angelle Stratton (Derek), Lea Bruce (Wallie), Bo Danos, Jon Danos (Kayla) and Bob Danos. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital in her name.
