He was predeceased by: his parents, Victorin "Beau", Sr. Matherne and Blanche Matherne; and his sister Marie Jeanne Gautreaux (Clarence). He is survived by: his wife Ellen H. Matherne; his children, Steve Matherne, Beau Matherne (Mia), Leigh Thibodaux (Wesley) and Leslie Guttke (Mike); his grandchildren, Tate Thibodaux (Brittany), Megan Thibodaux (Alex Ernestine), Bryce Matherne and Brynn Matherne; and his great grandchildren, Tatum Thibodaux, Weston Yager and Charlotte Thibodaux.
