She was predeceased by: her parents, Darris Babin and Winnie Babin; and her sister Betty Babin. She is survived by: her husband Roland F. Griffin Sr.; her children, Roland F. Griffin Jr. (Carmen) and Andrae Shellman (Stanley); her grandchildren, Richard Griffin (Lacey), Leigh-Ann G. Naquin (Michael) and Nicholas Griffin (Jaynie); and her sister Adrella Detiveaux (Philip).

In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Heart Association are preferred.
