He was predeceased by: his parents, James Fant Taylor, Sr. and Shirley Scanlan Taylor; and his brother John Edward Taylor. He is survived by: his children, Robert G. Taylor, Jr. (Tiffany) and Ashley T. Ferrand; his grandchildren, Gregory Taylor, Joshua Taylor, Kaylee T. Ezell (Brandon), Grey Taylor, Riley and Alex Ferrand; his great grandchildren, Bentley Wooters, Amara Ezell and Avery Taylor; his siblings, Susan Wadick (Jim), Patti Lapeyre (Robert), Peggy Bailey (Richard), Jay Taylor and David Taylor (Missy); and his close friend Buck Grieshaber. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, uncles, numerous cousins.

Family requests that social distancing be maintained at the cemetery during the Graveside Service.
