It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Peggy Marie Smoot Parmley of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, who passed away on September 12, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Leonard D. Parmley; her siblings, Mary, Tommy, Taylor, Harold, Russell, Bunnie and Butch; and her parents, Harvey Smoot and Cecil Smoot.

She is survived by: her family, Sarah and Russell; her children, Sandra Parmley, Sarah Ellzey (Russell), Philip Parmley (Colleen) and Michael Parmley (Summer); her grandchildren, Kalvin, Kendrick, Malik, Tyrick, Leah, Kaylee and Michael Jr.; and her sister Mildred "Minnie" Riley.
