She is survived by: her husband Ronald A. Schmit; her daughters, Dawn Upshaw and Robin Gumpert (Jeffrey); her siblings, Edgar Charbonnet, Jr., Phyllis Beyl (John), Peggy Hoover (Edwin) and Carolyn Pinion; and her grandchildren, Cooper, Paige, Reagan Upshaw, Liam and Lilly Gumpert. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
