She was predeceased by: her husband James F. Bankston; her parents, Mona Gray and Joseph Gray Jr.; and her brother Joseph Alexander Gray III. She is survived by: her children, Shannon Forrest and Duston Walker; her brothers, Gregory Gray (Juanita) and Leon "Marty" Gray (Ann); her grandchildren, Kristyn Newbury (Justin), Justin Haltom, Maelyn Forrest, Rayann Walker, Gillianne Walker and Gregory Walker; her great grandchildren, Vivian James Newbury, Norah June Newbury, Lily Newbury and Lucy Newbury; and her pets, Slick and Izzy.
