It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joann Parker Ragas of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, who passed away on September 16, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandson Joshua Reno; her siblings, James Avron Parker, Nora Jean Cagle, Betty Joyce Lee, Ida Faye Lee and James Eugene Parker; and also Henry Earl Ragas, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Robert Michael Hilbun (Patti), Tammy Chauff, Karen Myers (Kelly) and Henry Ragas, III (Meryl); her grandchildren, Jodi Combe (Jay), Shannon Wilson (Matt), Shane Hilbun, Robyn Chauff, Taylor Myers (Kayla), Henry Ragas, IV (Reanna) and Monique Jafar; her great grandchildren, Charlie Combe, Tyler Lloyd (Hannah), Sean Lloyd, Madison Ragas, Payton Ragas, Jackson Ragas, Sophia Jafar, Sabrina Jafar and Ramzey Jafar; her great great grandchild Juliette Lloyd; her sister Mary Evelyn Anderson; and her sister-in-law Ella Hankins (Pete). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
