It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dianne C. Comeaux of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, who passed away on August 8, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her significant other Ray Matherne; her parents, Helen White Tefank and Edward J. Tefank; and her brother Garland Cooper. She is survived by: her children, Terrie Comeaux Ockmand (Jerry), Patricia Comeaux Jefferson (Michael), Sheila Comeaux Wiseman (Michael) and Jack Wayne Comeaux Jr. (Courtney); her stepchildren, Stacey Matherne and Ray Matherne (Stacey); her grandchildren, Aaron, Brian, Mallory, Callie (Cayden), Carson (Kiara), Dawson (Madisyn), Nathaniel, Michael, Matthew (Reagan), Thomas (Cassidy), Olivia, Ray, Jessie, Allen, Alicia and Alex; her great grandchildren, Cole, Kye, Kinsley, Jericho, Teagan, Jackson and Harrison; and her siblings, Frederick Cooper (Dolores), Mark Cooper, Beverly Bellanger, Teena Tefank Perino and Donna Cooper.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to her godchild, Alyssa Perino, her niece and caregiver, Sharon Bellard, the Steve Gleason Foundation (Emily Schouest), Dr. Brittany Hattier, and Compassus Hospice.
