She is survived by: her significant other Charles McKay of Cloutierville; her son Michael Carr of Pollock; and her grandchildren, Michael "Doodle" Carr, Jr., David Carr, Cecil Howell, Lyric Rogers, Dorie Green and Sarah Crowell. She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
