He is survived by: his children, Melvin III, Rodriguez, Danisha Porche, Terry Dunn and Phoebe Lewis; his grandchildren, Dasha, Damyri, Dru, Dakota, Juniani, Juliana and Colby; his great grandchild Kylie; his siblings, Paul Barbarin (Patricia), Roy, Michel, Bernie, Ashton Porche, Linda Gabriel (Larry), Blanche Brister and Estella Lewis; and his brother-in-law Ray Brister.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Holy Anointed House of Prayers (1447 Senate St, New Orleans, LA 70122). A burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery (100 Blaine Avenue Northeast, Renton, WA 98056).
