He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Murphy and Edward Hargrove; and his sisters, Grenda Murphy and Elouise Bias. He is survived by: his son Chad Butler; his siblings, Guscemore Murphy (Lisa) and Dianne Holmes (Alfred); and his aunts and uncles, J. C. Thompson, Carroll Murphy, Harvey Murphy, Dorothy Thompson and Mary Dunmiles. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
