With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Julie Blanchard Acosta (Napoleonville, Louisiana), born in Donaldsonville, Louisiana, who passed away on February 15, 2019 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Doris Blanchard and Raymond Blanchard; her husband Donald Neal Acosta; and her sister Connie Stropolo. She is survived by: her children, Sarah Acosta, Catherine Acosta and Joseph J. Acosta III (Abby); her siblings, Donna Blanchard Landry (David), Lauren Blanchard Johnson and Marvin Clay Blanchard (Lisa); and her grandchildren, Paxton, Benjamin and Sherry.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent to the Humane Society of Louisiana.
