He was predeceased by: his parents, Irma Carter and Earl Carter, Sr.; his wife Ora Carter; and his grandson Torian Carter. He is survived by: his children, Kevin, Roderick Carter, Paula Ann Jackson and Carla Ann Jackson; and his siblings, Herman, Carlos, Nathaniel, Louis Carter, Paulette and Thenell Carter. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
