Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved John Burns (Moss Bluff, Louisiana), born in Leesville, Louisiana, who passed away at the age of 99, on February 12, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, J. W. Burns and Minnie Bridges Burns; and his wife Ione Shirley Burns. He is survived by: his brother Billy John Burns of Bossier City, LA; his sons, John B. Burns, Jr. (Betty) of Lecompte, LA and Rev. Lindsey Burns (Janet) of DeRidder, LA; and his grandchildren, Angie Derrick (Jason), Brad Youngblood (Felicia), Amy Birtman (Bryan "Skip"), Beth Knapp (Steven) and Rebecca Hogan (Kyle). He is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
