She was predeceased by: her husband Willie Mack Istre; her son Anthony Mack Istre; and her parents, Adam Leger and Effie Thibodeaux Leger. She is survived by: her children, Bryan Istre of Baton Rouge, Lynette Istre Lacombe (Gary) of Gonzales, LA, Cedric Istre of Morse, Amanda Istre of Morse and Janice Istre LeJeune (Peter) of Estherwood; her grandsons, Nathaniel Lacombe, Michael Lacombe and Quincy LeJeune; her son-in-law Gary Lacombe; her grandson Thomas LeJeune; and her son-in-law Peter LeJeune.
