She was predeceased by: the father of her children Douglas Bergeron, Sr.; her daughter Belinda Credeur; her parents, Sidney Joseph Richard and Mary Virgie Stelly; her brothers, Paul Sidney Richard (Jeanette), Joseph James "Eugene" Richard (Geraldine) and Steven Richard, Sr.; her brothers-in-law, Bobby Allemond, Sr. and Harris Bergeron; and her godchild Geno Bergeron.
She is survived by: her children, Douglas Bergeron, Jr. (Jessica), Lisa Carpenter (Dudley) and Linda Gros (Kirk); her grandchildren, Micah Meador (Scott), Jamie Thibodeaux, Tara Dekerlegand (Karl "KJ"), Joshua Bergeron (Brooke), Tabitha Bergeron (Catina), Khykera Thomas (Freddie), Sierra Kober (Zack), Maddison Bergeron, Rusty Credeur (Jesi), Blake Credeur, Cory Carpenter (Ashley "Le-Le") and Chantell Carrere (Lynn); her siblings, Mary Jane Allemond, Connie R. Bergeron, Jeffery Joseph Richard (Olivia) and John Lester Richard (Yvonne); her son-in-law Glenn Credeur; her godson Eric Richard; and her sister-in-law Marguerite Richard. She is also survived by twenty-seven great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren.
