It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mamie Kathleen Washington of Morgan City, Louisiana, who passed away on February 19, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fulton Washington, and Mamie Washington, Sr.; her siblings, Fulton Washington, Jr. and Constance Hulbert; and her brothers-in-law, Thomas Foster and Leo Turenne.
She is survived by: her sisters, Antoinette Washington of Morgan City, LA, Diana Williams (Bernie) of Morgan City, LA, Janita Turenne of Morgan City, LA and Carlene Washington of Houston, TX; her sister-in-law Elaine Washington of Gibson, LA; her nephew Fulton Washington III; and her niece Alicia Joseph. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, family and friends.
