He was predeceased by: his father John Wesley Brown, Jr.; his grandparents, John Wesley Brown, Sr. (Lela) and Linzy Howard, Sr. (Julia); and his father-in-law Warren Lyons (Emma). He is survived by: his wife Iona Brown; his sons, David Brown, Jr. (Victoria) of Raceland, LA and Devion Brown of Houma, LA; his grandsons, Malachi Brown of Raceland, LA and Joaquin Brown of Raceland, LA; his brother John Wesley Brown, III (Pamela); his nephew John Brown, IV of Huntsville, AL; his nieces, Kirsten Coleman (Jheremy) of Morgan City, LA., Jordan Allen (Alonza) of Baltimore, MD and Jayla Brown of Conyer, GA; his aunts, Diana Brown Jackson of College Park, GA, Evangelist Yvonne Howard Hanzy of Everrett, WA, Daisy Howard Douglas (James) of Sandy Point, VA and Betty Howard Ross of Morgan City, LA; his uncle Jesse Polk Howard (Alice) of Baton Rouge, LA; and also Minister Genevieve Howard Brown. He is also survived by four great-nephews; two great nieces.
