He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillie Melancon and Robert Melancon; and his siblings, Julie Howell, Sheryl Authement and Kurt Melancon.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Melancon; his daughters, Michelle Melancon and Raven Peterson; his son-in-law Todd Peterson; and his grandsons, T. J. Peterson (Hannah), Corbin Peterson, Colby Peterson, Deven Melancon and Colton Peterson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mulhearn Funeral Home - Monroe (2308 Sterlington Rd, Monroe, LA 71203).
