With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Carlson Sr. of Merryville, Louisiana, born in Tarboro, North Carolina, who passed away on August 17, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Carlson and Thomas Carlson of Roanoke Rapides, NC; and his brother Joe Carlson of Kentucky. He is survived by: his wife Judy Carlson of Merryville, LA; his sister Mary Lou Phelps of Thomasville, NC; his son Donald Carlson, Jr.; his daughters-in-law, Cristy Carlson (Anthony Carlson) of Singer, LA and Tamela Carlson of Rosepine, LA; and his grandchildren, Corey Carlson, Colby Carlson, Craig Carlson, Brandon Carlson, Jada Eaves and Katelyn Carlson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
