He was predeceased by: his parents, Davy Carr and Ethel Carr; his sons, Davy Carr and Elliott Withers; and his brothers, Elus Patterson, Sr. and Willie Carr.
He is survived by: his children, Courtney Baker (Myron), Trinell James and David Carr of Marrero, LA; and his brothers-in-law, Harry, Jr. (Marlene), Donovan, Sr. and Nelson Sr.. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
