It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Brian McCormic of Many, Louisiana, born in Haughton, Louisiana, who passed away on July 18, 2022, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Lindburg McCormic and Gloria Colleen McCormic. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn McCormic; his children, Byron McCormic (Kandace McCormic), Gwen Simmons (Bobby Simmons), Deanna Hilliard (Kyle Hilliard) and Nina McCoy (David McCoy); his stepson Jonathan Wagstaff; his grandchildren, Zane Kilpatrick, Dalila McCormic, Avanna Scaife, Zeek Cranford, Karli McCormic, Wyatt Simmons, Maverick McCormic, Ski Hilliard, Gunner McCoy, Oliver Simmons, Brenley McCormic and Myah McCormic; his siblings, Paul McCormic (Pam McCormic), Bobby McCormic and Becky Stephens (Richard Stephens); the mother of his children Carolyn Maxey; and his close friends, Hoyt Mains (Judy Mains), Brad Williams and Brian Williams (Carolyn Williams). He is also survived by his loving wife and children.
