He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie A. Kiefer and Ann Bograd Kiefer; his grandparents, Fannie Durman Bograd and Isadore Bograd; and his uncles, Nathan "Nat" Bograd and Louis "Lou" Bograd (Flo).
He is survived by: his wife Ann Bonin Kiefer; his mother-in-law Joyce Bonin; his brother Eric Bograd Kiefer; his stepdaughters, Meredith Boehm, Mallory and Margot Messina; and his grandchildren, Shelby, Austin, Hayden Simon, Chandler, Caitlyn Trosclair, Jacob Kiefer, Gus and Lee Kiefer. He is also survived by friends and his beloved canine companion.
