William Borstel Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Borstel of Laplace, Louisiana, born in Portland, Maine, who passed away on December 4, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Borstel and Ursula Kendrick; and his brother Grant Kendrick. He is survived by: his wife Margaret F. Borstel; his children, Martha Borstel, Kathryn Brown Walsh, Beverly Whiteley (Joseph), Edward Borstel (Patricia), Brant Brown (Faith) and Frederic Borstel (Jessica); his sister Trudy Anderson (Jack); his grandchildren, Allison Walsh, Kaylin Walsh, Elizabeth Mathiak (Hans), Hannah Borstel-Sexton (Tyler), Asher Brown, Rebecca Brown, Benjamin Brown, Ruth Brown, Maggie Borstel, Audrey Borstel and Camille Borstel; and his great grandchildren, Easton Daniel Walsh, Matteo Mathiak, Tobias Mathiak, Korban Mathiak and Aviel Mathiak. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
