He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Girtley and Willie Belle LaBranch; his grandparents, Lillie and Hampton (Malcom LaBranch); his son-in-law Troy V. Allen Sr.; his sisters, Charlezetta "Toni" Tuck, Pearlina Gray, Vernell Williams and Jacqueline Waller; his siblings-in-law, Olivette Magee and Huey Gordon Sr.; his nephew Huey Gordon Jr.; and his uncle Lealbrian Hampton Sr..
He is survived by: his wife Margie Standberry; his daughters, Nikita Allen and Yolanda Brown (Eric); his grandchildren, Troy Jr., Nia, Nya and Ashley; his stepgrandson Austin; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Ace and Akio; and also D'Ebony Hills. He is also survived by one aunt, and a host of other relatives and friends.
