It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen Taylor of Laplace, Louisiana, born in Garyville, Louisiana, who passed away on May 10, 2021, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Simon Taylor; his grandparents, Wallace Chaney and Laura Battiste; his brother Gregory Taylor, Sr.; and his brother-in-law Pastor Cornell Adams.
He is survived by: his mother Geraldine Taylor Sandle; his stepfather Melvin Sandle; his children, Jovan Johnson, Tramon Johnson, Dominique Frank, Stephanie Johnson, Stephon Johnson, Jacob Taylor, Kayla Taylor, Stephen Taylor, Jr., Elijah Taylor and Elisha Taylor; his brother Kenneth; his sister-in-law Lisa Taylor; his stepbrothers, Ray and Myron McGinnis; his nephew Derrius Taylor; and also Laurie Taylor Adams. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
