He was predeceased by: his wife Deborah Batiste; his parents, Newton Batiste and Aldonia Batiste; his parents-in-law, Alma and Austin Dennis, Sr.; his siblings-in-law, Wilfred Armant, Sr., William Smith, Albert Verdin, James Joseph and Laverne Dennis; and his nephews, Rodney Smith and Troy Allen.
He is survived by: his sisters, Rose Armant, Brenda Borne, Cleola Pierre, Winenell, Eva and Joana Batiste; and his siblings-in-law, Allen of Washington, Edmond Varner, Robert Brown, Austin, Charles, Herman, Dale Dennis, Ernestine Joseph, Irma Varner, Rosebelle Brown, Audrey Verdin, Leona, Sherri, Kathryn and Rosemary Dennis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
