He was predeceased by: his wife Jeannine Bercegeay Smith; his daughter Brandi Smith; his parents, Cleo Smith and Virginia Carender; and his brother Richard Smith.
He is survived by: his daughters, Danielle Zimmer (Dustin) and Amber Stacy (Rob); his grandchildren, Brayden Zimmer Brooklyn Zimmer, Hailey Stacy, Jake Stacy and Brandon; and his siblings, Cleora Sue Galvez (David), Melissa Smith-Powell (Reggie), Michael Smith (Debbie), Lori Thompson and George Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and his childhood friends.
