It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jenny (Yu) Jong of Lake Providence, Louisiana, who passed away on June 17, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jenny (Yu) Jong to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Wally Jong; her son Kayo Jong; her parents, Yee Wall and Tam Shu; and her siblings, George Wall, B. L. Yee, Johnson Yu and Yee Cheng Kim.
She is survived by: her children, Leland (Lillian) of LakeProvidence, Steve (Cat) of Plano, TX, Wanda Quon (Daniel) of Madison, MS, Susan Pate (David) of St. Francisville, LA and Margaret Toney (Lee) of Lake Providence; her brother Wayne Yee of Plano, TX; her grandchildren, Chris Jong, Alan Jong, Ben Jong, Jason Quon, Lisa Jong Thomas, Ashton Jong Lee, Anna Pate Garmon, Jennifer Pate Hardee, Jordan Jong, Allison Toney, Sarah Pate, Chad Toney, Emily Pate, Katrina Jong and Kameron Jong; and her great grandchildren, Harrison Jong, Beckham Jong, Aria Thomas, Kennedy Hardee, Ruby Garmon, Stella Quon, Lily Lee, Kate Hardee and Reese Jong. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Jenny's name to General Trass High School and/or Briarfield Academy or to the charity of your choice.
