He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Betty Bourgeois; his children, Daniel Joseph Bourgeois Jr. (Veronica), Evelyn Bourgeois Hue (Eric), Buddy Bourgeois (Annette) and David Bourgeois (Melanie); his parents, Belle Ann Christen Bourgeois and Everst Bourgeois; and his siblings, Annita, Roland, Jenny, Max, Norman, Rita, Ruth, Myrtle and Clyde. He was also cherished by 16 grandchildren, as well as numerous step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
