He was predeceased by: his father Wilbur Charles Sims Sr.; his brother Wilbur Charles Sims II; and his aunt Bettye Smith. He is survived by: his wife Paulette Sims; his children, Nicole, Bria, Alliyah, Meah, Nakeah, Teah and Jamar Roberts; his mother Michaelane Mariah Sims-Lightbourn; his sister Jeannene Rosser; and his cousin Larry Williams. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
