It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Denton Longstreet of Kenner, Louisiana, born in Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on January 22, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Denton and Irene Denton; her siblings, James Denton, Stephen Denton, Benjamin Denton, Irene Carsow and Mildred Sparks; and her granddaughter Jamie Longstreet.
She is survived by: her husband Lee Longstreet, Sr.; her brother Robert Denton; her sons, Lee Longstreet, Jr. (Margaret), Stephen Longstreet (Denise) and Sidney Longstreet (Debra); her grandchildren, Brian Longstreet, Angela Longstreet, Tiffany Ryals (Scott), Shelley Calamia (Dustin) and Melissa May (Kristopher); and her great grandchildren, Braydon, Scott Jr., Brennan, Harper and Ethan.
