She was loved and cherished by many people including: her brother Alvie Dale Hawthorne; her husband Furman Alcee "Joe" Rachal; her children, Al Rachal of Tyler, TX, Kim Phillips (Dennis Phillips) of Lawrenceville, GA, Karen Shuler of Dallas, TX, Pam Rachal of West Monroe, LA and Stacy Nunnelee (Chris Nunnelee) of Dallas, TX; her grandchildren, Danny Trevino, Jason Trevino, Matt Bryant, Steven Shuler, Jake Shuler, Kevin Shuler, Amanda Bison, Haley Odom, Collin Nunnelee, Cori Nunnelee and Caroline Nunnelee; and her sister Donna Hawthorne Seale (Vaughn Seale) of Hammond, LA..
