It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lauris Gaspard (Kaplan, Louisiana), who passed away on May 3, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Harcie "Paul" Gaspard; her children, Harold Saltzman and Dorothy Simon; and her grandson Timothy Kerrigan. She is survived by: her son Elie Saltzman, Jr. of Mouton Cove; her grandchildren, James Thompson (Amy) of Indian Bayou, Tommy, Tangie, Sammy and Bobbie; and her siblings, Ella Mae Stelly of Pecan Island, Verna Taylor of Laccasine and George LeBouef of Abbeville. She is also survived by her 13 great grandchildren.
