She was predeceased by: her husband Eraste Romero; her parents, Cestia Simon and Agnes Bourque; and her siblings, Raoul, Pierre'Blanc', Roy Simon, Enola Simon and Viola Duhon.
She is survived by: her children, Phyllis Romero (Alvin) of Kaplan, Gerald Romero (Karen) of Kaplan and Mona Frey (Kim) of Mowata; her sister Beverly Trahan of Houston, TX; and her sister-in-law Eula Mae'Bee'Simon of Forked Island. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
