He was predeceased by: his son Billy Ponder; and his granddaughter Misty Culpepper. He is survived by: his wife Nell McDaniel (Rieson); and his daughters, Marilyn Willis (Vic), Kay Welch (Greg), Teresa Havard, Donna Ponder and Linsey McDaniel. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
