It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Thera Durbin of Jonesboro, Louisiana, who passed away on August 24, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Hesley "Bus" Durbin; her children, Kathy LaRue and Ricky Fred Durbin; her grandson Chad Hammonds; her parents, Fred Ander and Lottie Mae Smiley (Cunningham); and her siblings, Lavell Smiley, L. V. Smiley, Glen Smiley, Alvin Smiley and Vera Mae Grishom.
She is survived by: her children, Phoebe Durbin, Michael Durbin (Sondra), Ellen Hammonds (Tommy) and Penny Dillon (Jim); and her brother Wilburn Fred Smiley. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Burial will follow in Antioch Community Church Cemetery under the direction of Southern-Edmonds Funeral Home. ***Face masks will be required for entry at the Chapel and social distancing must be maintained.***.
