She was predeceased by: her husband Tony Kenneth Choate; her son David Choate; her parents, Jack Hugh McCormick and Peggy McCormick (Thomas); and her sisters, Mary Johnson and Barbara Anstead.
She is survived by: her son Paul Choate; her grandchildren, Lilith Choate, Austyn Choate, Alayna Choate (Tyler Bolton) and Katy Choate; her sister Janis Culver (Billy); and her brother-in-law Darri Johnson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
