He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Markgraf and Rose Markgraf; and his brother Robert "Bob" Markgraf. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Markgraf Griggs (Jerry), Bruce Thomas Markgraf, Jr., Scott Karl Markgraf and Leigh Markgraf Chism (Terry); and his grandchildren, Stormy Spillers (Jerry), Ellise Spears, Jerry "Trey" Griggs, III (Stacey), Brianna Kotter (Brady), Vanessa Markgraf, David Markgraf, Sydney Kelly and Jessica Chism. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
