It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Beard LeJeune of Jennings, Louisiana, born in Liberty, Texas, who passed away on November 29, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Beard and Amenth Fontenot Beard; her husband Clinton LaVergne; her former husband Gaflin J. LeJeune; her son Eldon; her granddaughter Tina Benoit; and her daughters-in-law, Christine and Jacqueline.
She is survived by: her sons, Carlton (Randa), Ronald (Patricia) and Frederic (Theresa). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren, and two great-great-great grandchildren.
