He was predeceased by: his parents, Deluse Newman and Waver Newman; his brothers, Clifford Newman and Jimmy Newman; his son Patrick Newman; and his nephew Kirk Newman.
He is survived by: his wife Emmalee Newman; his children, Cynthia Picard (Robert) of New Iberia, Melissa Styron (Kendall) of Galveston, Milfred Newman (Kelly) of Deridder, LA and Kevin Newman (Tanga) of Orange Tx; his stepchildren, Curtis Fontenot (Mary) of Hayes, LA and Rachelle Fontenot of Hayes, LA; and his brother Wilson Newman (Joyce) of Jennings, LA.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.
