She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Carl (F. C.) and Sylvia Chamberlain; and her brother Bobby Chamberlain. She is survived by: her former husband Robert A. Hanks; her husband Frank King; her brother F. C. Chamberlain Jr.; her sons, Michael Hanks of Richmond, VA and Todd Hanks (Denise) of Rayne, LA; her grandchildren, Timothy, Sophia, Mitchell, Caleb and Josie; and her caregiver Donald Johnson.
